Th 3/12/26: Wi-Fi Down

 Th 3/12/26: Wi-Fi Down

Up 8am: A mix of sun & clouds and breezy with temps to about 50.

Watching 'ONCE UPON A TIME IN LONDON' (Amazon Prime). Just before 11am I lost the Wi-Fi and then nothing worked. No power to the outlet? I called Dave Eiter at Tech2Door and they will call me back.

This is not helping my recovery  although the lung congestion is about gone but the depression has intensified.

1120am:  Chris (Dave's son) called back and mentioned a couple of fixes, but no good. He said he'll pay me a visit in 10 minutes. He came over and had everything up and running in five minutes. A power surge or something affected the power. He didn't charge  me a cent.  Something is going right for a change!

I finished the very mediocre film about the rise of London gangster Billy Hill. Not much action, just fist fighting and the occasional knifing.

1215pm: I shut the PC down and began work on the mold in the bathroom. The plan is to spend a couple of hours on cleaning, hit the treadmill, and in for a soak. I guess I'll do the urine sample tomorrow and that is weighing heavily on my mind. I'm so glad that dire computer problems haven't been thrown into the mix.

245pm:  I finished the work in the bathroom. I got the worst of it and it looks much, much better. When the installers get here I'll ask about applying grout on top of the stains.

I'm going to rest for a bit and eat a couple of peanut butter & crackers. Then on the treadmill for TUESDAYS WITH STORIES.

345pm: Treadmill...ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES AT 3.6 PACE (about 4.5 miles; TUESDAYS WITH STORIES; began CHRIS ROBINSON on THEO VON.

540pm: In the tub with MURRAY LEINSTER and listening to ORNETTE COLEMAN- 'The Atlantic Years'.

Cleaning the bathroom tiles seemed to lessen the 'black thoughts'. I'm hoping that more of my appetite returns and the plan is to try an omelet for tonight with the rest of the Progresso chicken noodle soup.{This happened}

More of the very funny interview with CHRIS ROBINSON on THEO VON.

More 'SOUTHLAND' (Netflix). I shut it down 30 minutes into episode #4. This might be my favorite Police Procedural and I think it might even be better than Harry Bosch.
