Up 530am: Partly cloudy & windy with temps to low 80's. The plan for today is to watch a movie and then put a coat of paint on the front stoop. 

***very high this morning; 50 mg & Hybrid is a dynamite combo. And, by noon I have run out of excuses to NOT paint the stoop.

Watched 'PERDITA DURANGO' (Amazon Prime). The title is the name of the lead character. She's a badass and hooks up with a Mexican Santeria priest. There's kidnapping, gunplay, crazy car wrecks, and a semi full of dead fetuses. Very funny and transgressive to a fault; Rosie Perez, Javier Bardem, James Gandolfini, Screamin' Jay Hawkins.  

Finished 'DELHI CRIME' (Netflix). The ending credits were wrong. THE NUMBER OF WOMEN WHO WENT MISSING IN INDIA IN 2022: It said that there were '2,93,500' {wrong amount of digits}- correct: '293,500'. In the US it runs to '271,493'.

Pop. India 2022: 1,425,423,212 or 1.425 billion.

Pop. US 2022: 333,287,557. Looks like it's a bigger problem here than in India. 

1205pm: PC is 'Off' and preparing to paint the stoop and then a visit to Planet Fitness.

1215pm- 145pm:  the stoop & front of trim. A significant improvement. 

110pm: Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 15"Recumbent Bike...ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES;  watched 'KID CANNABIS' (Netflix)- I had seen this before, but it was well worth a second look. It's a dramedy about a nerdy high school kid from Idaho who organized a pot smuggling operation where he buys buds in Canada and his crew carry it across the border. "54" Metascore and I would give it a "77". 

When I got home I did a bit of touch up on the stoop, but I was very satisfied. 

The woman across the street called out (she remembered my name) while I was painting and was wondering about the abandoned (?) black truck in front of the vacant house next door. She said she might call the police because it might be a stolen truck that's been abandoned. I thought it was workmen that were going to work on the house. It might not be. 

540pm: In the tub to finish 'KINDRED' & began 'TEA AND TRANQUILISERS' and listening to RONALD SHANNON JACKSON Playlist; ROY GALLAGHER Playlist; TASTE Playlist.

I noticed this on Nextdoor:  "Hi All - this is a warning for walkers in Lake Forest Estates. Last weekend my neighbor witnessed a dog attack on a man at the corner of Catalpa Drive and Buckeye. The person was bitten on the face and leg. Please be alert in this area." This is a couple of blocks from The Brandenburgs. 

Watched a DL HUGHLEY 'The Liquor Cabinet Is Drunk On Power'.

Began 'BLACK RABBIT' (Netflix). I shut it down 47 minutes into the first episode. Jason Bateman and Jude Law play two memorable characters and it's shaping up to be a series that's 'a cut above'.

 I want to use the 'not gray enough' paint on the 'metal screen' on the breezeway. Ask if 'floor' paint would work on metal. I'll get a new can of 'darker' gray. Buy an additional brush
