Watched 'ANEMONE' (Netflix). Painfully slow high drama about a man suffering from PTSD who lives in the woods as a hermit. After twenty years of exile, his older brother pays a visit to get him to return and meet the son that he abandoned. It features a very freaky and violent hail storm. Filmed in Anglesey, Wales, and Chester, England. Chester is about 25 miles south of Liverpool and Anglesey is in far western Wales. "The exquisite agony of self-denial". Payback for rape by a priest..."I manured him". An IRA bomb explodes and embeds the teeth of one man into the side of another man's head. Ray puts him out of his misery and this was judged a 'War Crime' and a principle reason for his estrangement from society; with Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Bean. Co-written and directed by Ronan Day-Lewis, the son of the star. "53" Metascore and I would boost that to "79". It's well worth a look, but almost equal parts haunting and deep and also dull and meandering.  {Anemone is a flower like a buttercup and anemone is also a spineless fish} 

Watched 'DEATH AT TEA TIME: YIYA MURANO' (Netflix). 'Yiya' is pronounced 'Shee Shaw'. The woman ran a Ponzi scheme and she lived a high life on other people's money. When they asked for their money back, she poisoned them. The state employed an extremely inept prosecution to let such an obvious murderer slip through their hands.
