Up 550am: Partly cloudy & breezy with temps to about 90 & a chance for thunderstorms this afternoon. A huge storm blew through the area last night. Trees are down in many parts of Springfield (especially near the airport; the Animal Protection League took a direct hit) and power is out in some areas near the airport. The woman's branch pile across the street was scattered and the front porch rain gauge measured over two inches. I moved the new gauge out from under the tree and to the other side of the driveway. 

I was very apprehensive about the 1130am visit to 800 N. 1st because of constipation. The problem was resolved at 715am. I don't know what I'm going to say, but I've got to say something. Describe the issue and let her chime in.

About 830am I decided to put in a couple of miles on the treadmill to cut the anxiety. 

Watched 'TRUE ROMANCE' (Netflix). I shut it down with an hour and six minutes left and I'll continue on the treadmill. 

840am:   TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; more 'TRUE ROMANCE  (Netflix) and I finished it on the PC.  

1005am: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for the 1130 appointment. I need to leave the house early because they need to update my records. I could do it on the phone, but I'd rather do it in person.   

1030am:  To 800 N. 1st... waited till 1145am & out by 12pm and home at 1220pm. Bladder scan; no 'finger wave'. I wasted so much anxiety over absolutely nothing. ***I was very apprehensive about today's visit to 800 N. 1st due to constipation. 645am: the problem cleared. When I brought up constipation she just said to drink plenty of water and take a stool softener.  

Home to prepare for a workout at Planet Fitness. 

1245pm: (a thug on a riding mower was cutting the grass at the abandoned house next door when I left)  To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 30"Recumbent Bike, 15"Recumbent Bike...TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched 'THE SUITCASE KILLER: THE MELANIE MCGUIRE CASE' (Netflix)- Wife shoots husband and puts him in a suitcase; a Lifetime movie & 50 mg was essential; finished a TIGER BELLY; began BOBBY LEE with BILL MAHER. 

Schnucks:  2 flour tortillas, apples; $10.  

Reading 'ADULTHOOD RITES'

540pm: In the tub with "ADULTHOOD RITES" and listening to ALAN PARSONS- 'I Robot'; ALICE COLTRANE Playlist; WHO- 'Eden Live'.

***Worse storm that I've seen in a while and they come so often that it really takes a whopper to 'stand out': Just out of the tub & it hit. Power off 725pm- 740pm. I'll stay upstairs till 8pm (20 mins). Pine branch down on the fence out back. The guy will probably cut it up, but if he doesn't I'll offer to haul it out front.  I didn't go downstairs until 835pm. Last night was bad, but this storm is worse. I'll check the rain gauges tomorrow morning. {Not quite an inch and a half}

Went downstairs and just surfed for information and pictures about yesterday's storm and anything about tonight's violent weather. I think I heard sirens around 730pm, but it might have been the wind; way over 50 mph.
