945am: The blue pill plus the 'gentle' laxative did the trick, but I was very constipated. If I don't get a call from Dr. Martinek's office in the next couple of hours I will call back. Within five minutes I got a call from the nurse practitioner. I should begin taking MIRALAX   (Polyethylene Glycol) twice a day. This will take the place of the laxatives that I've been taking. I should drink plenty of liquids and they will give me a follow-up call on Friday. 

 Watched 'BUGONIA' (Netflix). A couple of determined dunces kidnap a female CEO because they think that she is conducting a top secret & lethal experiment on humans with the help of 'The Emperor of Andromeda'. Lots of sharp & incisive dialogue that demonstrates you cannot change a mind that refuses to be changed. In the end the CEO really was an alien and 'The Emperor' decides to end mankind...."Where Have All The Flowers Gone"; with Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. (THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER, DOGTOOTH, THE LOBSTER). Nominated for 4 Oscars; 12 wins & 150 nominations. "72" Metascore and I would go to "89". SCREEN RANT- "Bugonia will make you laugh, squirm, and gasp in equal measures, but the film always feels in control of which of these emotions it wants you to feel at any particular moment. Lanthimos is a master of creating atmosphere, and Bugonia really feels like he’s at the top of his game." 

Watched 'ATLAS SHRUGGED: Part I' (Netflix). I shut it down with 45 minutes left to go and I might finish it at Planet Fitness later. POV: That the 'super' rich are very deserving and responsible for all that is economically healthy & beneficial. It's very basic Ayn Rand, but a stale presentation and poorly executed. The film is set in 2016 and the premise that American railroads could 'take over' if the airline industry collapses is absurd. Also, each film in the series has a completely different cast so it's going to be pretty confusing regardless of the subject. 

1210pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to Planet Fitness; then to Schnucks to pick up the MIRALAX. 

1240pm: To Planet Fitness...45" Cross, 45"Treadmill, 20"Recumbent Bike, 25"Cross....TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched documentary 'BIG CHICKEN: A FAST FOOD CONSPIRACY' (Netflix)- Bog Chicken targets 'food deserts' in poor areas; more 'ATLAS SHRUGGED' (Netflix).

540pm: In the tub with 'SIDDHARTHA' and listening to DOORS- 'Different Voices'; CREAM- 'Fresh' & 'Disraeli' Deluxe.

Finished 'BEEF' (Netflix- season #1). I watched an hour and a half- almost three entire episodes. So many stories that it was almost impossible to end. But, the two characters that shared their road rage now will be together. It's (almost) romantic. I hope this director does more for Netflix.
