Watched 'A DIFFERENT MAN' (Kanopy). A thoughtful & darkly hilarious rift on 'The Beauty & the Beast' or even 'The Elephant Man', although it's never mentioned. Makes you question what you think about what it means to be 'different'. How much of a difference does it make if 'the outside' of a person doesn't match 'the inside'. If you are 'different', should you be 'passive' or would it be better to take a more 'aggressive' (in your face) approach. This is the kind of movie that will lead to a lot of discussions about what it means; with Sebastian Stan (Edward), Renate Reinsve (Ingrid), Adam Pearson (Oswald- this actor is really disfigured or maybe just 'different'). "78" Metascore and I would go to "88". THE WRAP- "A Different Man is a fascinating exploration of humanity with Sebastian Stan and Adam Pearson being a team I want to see reunite in other works. The climax is a tad underwhelming but overall it’s a rollicking ride worth experiencing."  

110pm: The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to do FIVE MILES on the treadmill and then head to County Market for the grocery shopping. Tomorrow it's another trip to Plains. 

135pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  watched an episode of 'COUNTDOWN TO MURDER' (Amazon Prime)- An old wheelchair bound man douses an ex female friend in kerosene and lights her on fire. He's convicted of murder.
