Watched 'LIMONOV: THE BALLAD' (Kanopy). The film is based on a novelized biography by Emmanuel Carrere of the Russian dissident writer and politician, Eduard Limonov. 'Eddie' was against any form of societal control and spent his life attacking any intrusion on his perceived liberty. He was the definitive 'Anarchist'. He was born in 1944 and in the sixties he was a struggling poet in Russia and in the 70's he hung with the Andy Warhol crowd in NYC. Then it was Paris and then back to Mother Russia for some prison time. The film features a lot of the music of the Velvet Underground and an excellent 'video' within the film of 'Pretty Vacant' by the Sex Pistols. "61" Metascore and I would go to "76".  

Finished 'MY DAUGHTER'S FATHER' (Netflix). One could view the series as a ten hour movie or you could say it was a convoluted soap opera. It was a pleasant change from my usual stuff; police and gang drama. 

12pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing to visit Planet Fitness.

1230pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross,  45"Treadmill,  20"Recumbent Bike, 25"Cross...TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES;  watched a documentary 'THE TRUTH & TRAGEDY OF MORIA WILSON' (Netflix)- Female cyclist is murdered by her boyfriend's ex; more 'SOUTHLAND' (Netflix).

540pm:  In the tub with 'PARABLE OF THE TALENTS' and listening to DEL FUEGOS Playlist; DELANEY & BONNIE & FRIENDS Playlist; DEEP PURPLE- 'Come Taste The Band'.

More 'UMTHETHO' (Netflix). The title means 'The Law' in Zulu. I shut it down 40 minutes into the fifth episode.

Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
