Up 645am: Cloudy & muggy with temps to upper 80's. {windows open until 1130am}.

When I opened the living room PC I got the same prompt to 'restart'. I can't believe I took the risk, but no problems and I will call the computer guys {Tech2Door} as soon as they open and  schedule a visit. 

Finished 'JUST ONE LOOK' (Netflix). The title refers to the name of a song. The sister of a band member orchestrated the murders and kidnappings so that she could get the royalties from the band's hit, 'Just One Look'. The band's name is 'LAAD' and in Polish it means 'order & harmony'. Although the series was a bit confusing, it was an engaging and compelling drama. 

Began 'TEENAGE WASTELAND' (Netflix). In the early 90's a high school teacher of 'Electronic English' decided to have the students do a documentary about the local landfill. It was strange that the class completely exposed the coverups and mob connections, yet almost nothing was done about the obvious pollution. This went on for several years and the teacher just kept putting new students on the case. 'Garbage Is Gold' and that's why the mob was involved; Middletown, NY in Orange County.   

925am:  I made an appointment with Christian at 1030am on Monday, 9/24/26.

Began an episode of 'HOMICIDE SQUAD: NEW ORLEANS' (Netflix)- 'Know Thy Neighbor'. I shut it down 14 minutes into the episode. 

***Wrote an email to Joe. It's only been a week and to me it seems like that happened many weeks ago. I'm curious to hear how Joe is handling his loss. {Hard to judge from his reply, but he must be devastated}.  

1225pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to Planet Fitness. 

1250pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 20"Recumbent Bike, 25"Cross...TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched movie 'TO THE BONE' (Netflix)- The film is about people who are in treatment and dealing with eating disorders; with Keanu Reeves. From The Guardian: "...trite, shallow, cautiously middlebrow and blandly complicit in the cult of female prettiness that it is supposedly criticizing". "64" Metascore and I would go to "74"; more 'HOMICIDE SQUAD": NEW ORLEANS' (Netflix).

Reading 'PAINTED BLACK' and going for something new. 

540pm: In the tub to begin DO WITH ME WHAT YOU MAY' by JOYCE CAROL 0ATES and listening to GOV'T MULE- 'Dose'/ 'Live at Roseland'. 

I went downstairs to give the PC another shot, but it was the same as last night. In the living room until Monday night. 

Began JOE LIST on 'KERRYN FEEHAN'.

Season #2 'FAUDA' (Netflix). The series is set in the West Bank, Palestine and Israel and deals with geopolitical conflicts; this season ( #2) is about Jews & Palestinians. I shut it down 9 minutes into the second episode of season #2.
