Finished 'BLOOD SACRIFICE' (Netflix). The painting that motivated the murders concerned the legend of King Domalde of the House of Ynglings. It's a Norse myth about a king who was sacrificed as an offering to the gods to end a multi-year famine. It must have worked because the next harvest was exceptional. It's a silly & illogical premise even for a myth. The reason the 'killer' cop targeted the police was that once he called for backup (his partner was critically wounded & later died), but the person in charge didn't send officers and then erased his call. This was one of the best Police Procedurals that I've seen in a long time. 

10am: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk in Washington Park. It's been a long time.

Home for a bowl of rice. It's been a while and I'll see if it is connected to the constipation issue. 

Watched the first episode of 'NAZI COLLABORATORS' (Amazon Prime).  It's a profile of Chaim Rumkowski, the Jewish man who was selected by the Nazis to run the Polish ghetto in Lodz. He ran a successful orphanage so the Germans thought he could be put in charge of the Council of Jewish Elders. Was he a Nazi collaborator who sent thousands of Jews to the death camps or was he more of a skilled negotiator who acted in the best interest of his people? In the end the Germans sent him to Auschwitz and there is a rumor that he was killed by the Jews.  

2pm: The PC is 'Off' and I'm flirting with the idea of mowing the lawn. What to do with the flowers along the walk? Should I cut them down or is it too early? 

215pm- 3pm: I cut the grass & mowed over the flowers along the front walk. The flower garden out back is entirely covered by a blanket of small white blossoms. I guess it's a weed/ vine, but it does look sharp.

 535pm:  In the tub with 'CRY TO HEAVEN' and listening to 'FREE'- 'Free'/ 'Tons of Sobs'/ 'Molten Gold'. WILSON PICKETT- 'Don't Knock My Love'.

Watched a YouTube video about PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN (25").

Began 'OASIS' (Netflix). Filmed in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It features the 'Gran Melia Palacio de Isora' hotel/ resort. I shut it down 14 minutes into the second episode. It's kind of like a reality show on Bravo; sexy & shallow/ 'money changes everything'.
