Watched 'WINDOWS ON THE WORLD' (Hoopla). Dad worked at the Twin Towers on 9/11 and his son travels from Mexico to NYC to find out if he survived. He finds dad, but the older man admits that he abandoned his Mexican family and that he wanted to live in the states. Then he decides to return to Mexico and the son decides to stay. Much of the story is beyond plausible, but includes lots of scenes from the streets of SoHo & lower Manhattan. 

Watched 'DISCONNECT' (Netflix). I shut it down with 45" remaining and I'll finish on the treadmill.

1250pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill. The humidity is far too intense to hit the sidewalks.  

105pm: FIVE MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT;  finished 'DISCONNECT' (Netflix)- A very dour tone and the film blends a few different storylines about people in extreme circumstances; a couple loses everything when their identity is stolen; a high-school boy gets catfished and then he hangs himself; a couple's young son dies & mom & dad grieve differently; with Jason Bateman, Hope Davis, Alexander Skarsgard. "64" Metascore and I would go to "79"; another 'ALLEGEDLY' (Netflix)- Two 13 year old girls are murdered & raped on a hiking trail by an abandoned railroad bridge in central Indiana. Their killer is appealing because he says the 'Odinists' did it? Believers in Odin?
