Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'WILD AT HEART' (Amazon Prime). I must have seen this classic from 1990, but I don't remember any of it. It's the torrid love affair between 'a robber and a manslaughterer' and a young woman who 'never says 'No' to Love'. Lynch creates a quirky hyper-realism that's painstakingly and intentionally hilarious; with Nicolas Cage, Laura Dern, Willem Dafoe, Crispin Glover, Diane Ladd, Isabella Rossellini, Harry Dean Stanton. Directed by David Lynch..."The whole world's wild at heart and weird on top". Nominated for 1 Oscar; 5 wins & 13 nominations. "52" Metascore and I would happily go to "91". The range was from "90" to "30". I guess many could not embrace the strangeness. I did.  

More 'AVERAGE JOE' (Netflix). I shut it down a few minutes into the fifth episode. I'll be back for more tonight, but right now it's time to hit the sidewalks.
