Up 720am{restless night}. Partly cloudy with temps to around 80.

Washed sheets...and because of that I forgot to charge the phone. I still had 49% power at 1130am so plenty of juice for the walk.

****832am- The 'Blinking' is back; one time and seems to be connected to when the screen saver comes on/ makes no sense but that seems to be the 'trigger'. 1030am:It is most definitely back...or it never left. Hopefully, I can live with it and then at a later time (much!) and upgrade with the 'new card' (?) that Christian mentioned. 

Watched 'COSMOPOLIS' (Kanopy). This seemed vaguely familiar, but the dialogue was so dense that I think most viewers would retain very little. It's self-consciously mind-blowing, extremely dry, deadpan & witty. Big economic and social theories are verbally tossed about and edited to bumper sticker soundbites and recited ironically. Although it's really only the story  of a billionaire who ventures out in his limousine to get a haircut on a very bad day on the streets of contemporary Manhattan. Some blood is spilled, but the psychological mayhem cuts deepest; Directed by David Cronenberg; from a novel by Don DeLillo; with Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Samantha Morton. "58" Metascore and it also got a single "100" and also a "30". I'd got to "80".

The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to take an abbreviated walk to Washington Park (it's been too long) and then mow the lawn (later).  

1140am- 115pm: To Washington Park... Make a one egg & veggie omelet, then read 'THE UNCONSOLED'.

330pm: Preparing to mow lawn & hopefully last trim of the season.

340pm- 440pm: mowed, hacked by wooden security fence, cut up TV box, swept.

 540pm:  In the tub with 'THE UNCONSOLED' and listening to 'GUIDED BY VOICES- 'Bee Thousand'/ 'Isolation Drills'/  'Mag Earwhig'/ 'Crystal Nuns Cathedral'/ 'Crawlspace Of The Pantheon'.

Watched 'LAST NIGHT TONIGHT'- Brazilian elections.

I noticed a blue shaded restart prompt & usually it's yellow. This was a bigger deal. Windows 11 26H2. I haven't read anything bad about it and it is supposed to be more than just security. Took twice as long, but wasn't too bad. I really hope that the update to 26H2 on the upstairs PC goes as well. 

850pm...And now, 'THE PERFECT LIE' (Netflix). I shut it down 39 minutes into episode #2. This is a very 'sudsy' soap opera and it's melodramatic and shallow. I like it.
