Watched 'A CRIME STORY' (Hoopla). Employees at a budget motel on the outskirts of Las Vegas become drug dealers and get targeted by Italian, Russian, local mobsters, and the law. Every cliche in the books and no better than a very well done student film. The motel where most of the action takes place is at the 'historic' EL RANCHO BOULDER MOTEL that's in Boulder City, Nevada. That's about 25 miles southeast of Las Vegas.  

Finished 'AVERAGE JOE' (Netflix). An unsatisfying ending, but it leaves the door wide open for a second season. From AI Mode: The second season the story shifts from Pittsburgh to (of all places?) Cape Town, South Africa. This was originally on BET and ended up at Paramount and available at Netflix. It depends on Paramount's license agreement with Netflix when season #2 becomes available for Netflix subscribers.  

Noon:  The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to FitClub West. I want to be able to enter and leave without any hassles. And after the workout, to the County Market for Natural Light, apples, Miralax. 

1230pm: to FitClub West...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 15" Recumbent Bike, 30"Cross...TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched 2 episodes of 'I SURVIVED A SERIAL KILLER' (Netflix); part of the first episode of 'SEAL TEAM' (Netflix); began 'THE DATING APP KILLER (Netflix).

Finished reading 'KAHAWA' & began 'PAINTED BLACK'.

540pm:  In the tub with 'PAINTED BLACK' and listening to GINGER BAKER- 'Coward of the County'/ 'Wheels of Fire'; METALLICA- 'Black Album'.

Began Kevin & H. Foley on 'CHRISSY CHAOS'.

More 'JUST ONE LOOK' (Netflix). I shut it down 6 minutes into episode #4. In the credits the author is 'Harlana Cobena'. Why would his name change in Polish? Why the extra "A's"? Coben's foreign stuff is even better than the American films and this is one of the best of the bunch. I know I've seen it but I can't remember how it all fits together. I know that there was a fire in a rock'n'roll nightclub and many died. The most memorable scene is when the wife asks him about a photograph, he says "it wasn't me", and walks out of the house never to be seen again. That was truly something different.
