Up 630am: Mostly cloudy with temps to about 70. Both of my arms are pretty sore from yesterday's shots. I'm glad I didn't take both in one arm because doubling this pain in one arm would be downright painful. I did 25 mg, and I'm hoping to 'psychedelize' the discomfort. 

Watched 'LITTLE TROUBLE GIRLS' (Hoopla- last pick). An all girls high school choir travels to The Monastery of Santa Maria (a real place and it dates back to the 8th century) to practice for a recital. It's one of the most oblique 'sexual coming of age' films that I've seen. Nothing romantic occurs and it's more that the film tries to honestly depict how curious teenage virgins experience nascent sexuality. "81" Metascore and I would go to "90" if only because the film never devolves into cliche.  The movie was shot in far northeastern Italy near the border with Slovenia; 'Cividale del Friuli', province of Udine Italy. The actors are speaking Slovenian and some of the film was shot in Slovenia.

Watched 'LUCKY' (Netflix). An elderly man alone (but not lonely!) faces the fact that he won't live forever. There is not much of a plot, and the film is basically a collection of several emotional and well-placed soliloquies delivered with conviction; with Harry Dean Stanton, David Lynch (has a turtle named 'Roosevelt'), Ron Livingston, Ed Begley Jr., Tom Skerritt, James Darren. "80" Metascore and I'd bump it over the line to "82".

 12pm:  The PC is 'Off' and the plan is to walk Washington Park and points south.

Began NIKKI GLASER on HOWARD STERN.

 More 'INSIDE THE CIRCLE' (Netflix). I shut it down 23 minutes into the fourth episode. There are just too many characters and too many connections. Pared down, this would have been exceptional, but I'm still into it.
