Up 730am: Sunny and warm with temps to low 80's.

Weekly Cleaning

Watched 'REPORTING LIVE' (Netflix).  A bridge collapses and a bus load of children drown in the river. Excessive sand dredging hollowed out the area beneath the riverbed and the supporting structure collapsed. A TV journalist and her cameraman uncover the illegal sand mining operation and the authorities try to suppress the story.  'Woodward & Bernstein' this ain't. The action takes place in the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra which is in the upper northwestern part of the country; approximately 250 miles north of Mumbai.

More 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Netflix). I Finished episode #2 and will continue the series tonight.

Tried to delete AI Mode History, and I did it, but not at all comfortable with doing it again. Why so fucking hard?

1230pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing to walk Washington Park and points south.

1255pm- 240pm:  To Washington Park...Fairway, Greenview, Parkview, Wash.Pk northside, MacArthur, Wash.Pk southside, Douglas, Leland, Lincoln, Ash, Wiggins, Wash.Pk southside, up the hill, Parkview, Kenyon, and down to 940...ONE HOUR AND 40 MINUTES; Very Very Circus- 'Spirit of Nuff'; more 'MONEY LIES AND GOD'.

Reading 'OIL!'

440pm: TWO MILES AT 4.1 PACE AND ZERO SLANT; began 'HOMICIDE NEW YORK' (Netflix)- Tu 9/ 11/ 01; what the cops featured on the show did that day; I'll finish it tonight.

Trouble with Amazon Prime; needs 'update' or complete new app.

535pm:  In the tub with 'OIL!' and listening to CINDY BLACKMAN SANTANA- 'Give The Drummer Some'; SPECTRUM ROAD album.

***I deleted Amazon Prime Video and reloaded it from Google Play Store.

Finished 'HOMICIDE NEW YORK' (Netflix)-  'Tu 9/11/2001'. "Almost 3,000 were killed on 9/11 but more people have died of 9/11 related illnesses than died on the day of the attack."

More 'WE MIGHT BE DRUNK' with MATTEO LANE & partner.

More 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Netflix). I shut it down 49 minutes into the third episode. Finally a series where the storyline is relatively clearcut.

Th 10/2/25- WYNK

Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". From RogerEbert.com: "In its style, “Magpie” is a marital thriller with noir trappings galore, including an almost ridiculously convoluted (y...

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy  735am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 820am (3 hits-B: Citrus Mac).  1215pm [I took 1/3 of 'VIIA' 100 mg: 33 mg total].(1-LB: Citrus Mac).  240pm (4 hits-B: Diablo's Hearse). 435pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 530pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 815pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 630am: Rain was "in the area", but missed Westview and more sunny & unseasonably warm weather with temps close to 90. {No rain in a long time & it's getting crunchy}  About 730am several 'tree trimming' trucks arrived and parked just down the street. I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. They disappeared by 10am and I think they were at the house 'with the indoor whirlpool'.  Watched 'UPGRADE' (Netflix).  A very fine 'Dystopian/ SciFi' genre film about a couple in Melbourne ("in a not too distant future") who are in their 'auto...

Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland. "83" Metascore and I would go to "91".  Watched 'BEYOND TRAINSPOTTING: The World Of Irvine Welsh' (Kanopy). An excellent profile of t...
