 Tu 10/6/26

805am (GB: 5/Green Crack). 920am (GB: 4/ Maui Wowie). 1230pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 335pm (2-B: Maui Wowie). 535pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 825pm (GB: 5/ Maui Wowie).

Up 7am: Sunny with temps to upper 70's.

Tuesday Restart PC & no problem; phone- there must be an easier way to restart;  740pm downstairs PC.

***Big sale at diamondcbd.com: $75 for a whole lotta weed

1) Hammerhead Flower-indica ($22- trying the sleepy stuff)

2) Green Crack Flower-sativa  (1/2 oz half price!!)

Watched 'THERE WILL BE BLOOD' (Amazon Prime). It feels like a great novel and I was surprised to learn that it is based on Upton Sinclair's novel, "Oil!". Odd Observation: The film examines nearly all the great themes of art & literature except sex. Daniel Plainview might be lying about H.W., but it makes sense that Daniel would use a baby as a prop to get the edge on gullible buyers who believe in 'family values'. It always works; with Daniel Day-Lewis, Paul Dano, Ciaran Hinds; directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. "93" Metascore and I'd got to "95".

Finished 'ELITE FORCE' (Netflix). A very average series, but now I will recognize 'GIGN'.

Finished a 'MWMH' (Netflix). A nail salon goes boom by a jealous co-owner.

1215pm: The PC is 'Off' and debating a trip to Planet Fitness or a walk in the park.

1245pm: To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 20"Recumbent Bike, 25"Cross...TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched 'LORNE' (Netflix)- A shot at a profile of Lorne Michaels, the godfather SNL. Not very informative because you wonder if this guy is really such an enigma or was the whole thing a kind of prank?; began an 'ALLEGEDLY' (Netflix)-  The Lizzie Borden episode.

Reading 'EASILY SLIP INTO ANOTHER WORLD'

540pm: In the tub with 'EASILY SLIP INTO ANOTHER WORLD' and listening to ISLEY BROTHERS Playlist; IGGY POP- 'The Bowie Years'; HENRY THREADGILL- 'Rag Brush & All'.

Finished JOEY DIAZ on THEO VON.

Began 'MOUSETRAP' (Netflix). Shot in Seoul, South Korea and Riga, Latvia. I finished the first episode and this was a solid choice. A guy gets a bill for $558,660 Korean won which is approximately $417 usd.

Th 10/2/25- WYNK

Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". From RogerEbert.com: "In its style, “Magpie” is a marital thriller with noir trappings galore, including an almost ridiculously convoluted (y...

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy  735am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 820am (3 hits-B: Citrus Mac).  1215pm [I took 1/3 of 'VIIA' 100 mg: 33 mg total].(1-LB: Citrus Mac).  240pm (4 hits-B: Diablo's Hearse). 435pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 530pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 815pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 630am: Rain was "in the area", but missed Westview and more sunny & unseasonably warm weather with temps close to 90. {No rain in a long time & it's getting crunchy}  About 730am several 'tree trimming' trucks arrived and parked just down the street. I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. They disappeared by 10am and I think they were at the house 'with the indoor whirlpool'.  Watched 'UPGRADE' (Netflix).  A very fine 'Dystopian/ SciFi' genre film about a couple in Melbourne ("in a not too distant future") who are in their 'auto...

Tu 9/30/35- Flu Shot/ COVID/ Gummy 730am (1-LB: a mix of Diablo's & Citrus). 815am (1/2-B: Diablo's Hearse). 1255pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 1pm [I took 1/2 'DIET SMOKE]. 250pm (1/2-B: Citrus Mac). 435pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 810pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac).  Up 635am: Sunny & unseasonably warm with temps almost to 90. Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland. "83" Metascore and I would go to "91".  Watched 'BEYOND TRAINSPOTTING: The World Of Irvine Welsh' (Kanopy). An excellent profile of t...
