 We 10/14/26- gummy

745am {1/4 VIIA 'Day Drift' 100 mg: 25 mg total}. 815am (GB: 4/ Green Crack). 845am {1/4 VIIA 'Day Drift' 100 mg: 50 mg total for the day; spaced an hour apart}. 1pm (GB: 5/ Maui Wowie). 535pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack). 825pm (GB: 5/ Green Crack).

Up 715am: Very light showers early, then cloudy with temps to mid 70's.

I threw out a random stack of books that sat on the living room mantle; thinning the herd.

Watched 'THE CRITIC' (Hoopla). The film is set in London's theater district during the mid 1930's and very slowly morphs into a pretty grim & gruesome tale. A notorious, old & gay theater critic plots crimes that lead to blackmail, suicide, and murder. The protagonist is a gay man who flaunts his sexuality in an era that treated homosexuality as an imprisonable offense; with Ian McKellen, Mark Strong. "54" Metascore and I would go to "84". From Collider: "A film filled with intensity, this is a worthwhile, deliciously vile watch..."Here it is at last, that distinguished thing". Henry James's last words.

Watched 'NAZI COLLABORATORS' (Amazon Prime)-  1) "The Belgian Collaborator":  Leon Degrelle was a washed up Belgian politician who 'became' a decorated war hero and was even celebrated by Adolf Hitler for his bravery during the Russian offensive. Legrelle split his country (Belgium) and handed over almost half (The Walloons state) to the Germans. Legrelle got his start running a newspaper for the Catholic church; 2) "The Croatian Collaborators': Dinko Sakic- This guy wanted to create a 'Catholic/Fascist' state and he got the blessing of the church. I'll finish this one later tonight.

I ordered 5 lbs of NISHIKI medium grain rice; Amazon- $6.00

***Two 25 mg gummies an hour apart make a nice & measured jolt. This was on an empty stomach, and I know it wouldn't have been nearly as perceptible had I eaten.

1240pm: The PC is 'Off' and preparing for a walk on the treadmill...Change of Plans: since it's going to rain tomorrow I'll hit Planet Fitness today.

110pm:  To Planet Fitness...45"Cross, 45"Treadmill, 20"Recumbent Bike, 25"Cross...TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES; watched (1st time) 'OUTLORE' (Netflix Podcast) - A True Crime about women who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein; finished a 'SPY OPS' (Netflix).

Reading 'OIL!'

540pm: In the tub with 'OIL!' and listening to ETHIOPIANS & GLADIATORS & early Ska; DEJOHNETTE/ THREADGILL- 'Made In Chicago'.

***Trouble with getting on the internet. "No connectivity with the TV"; 'Unplug/ Replug' and it worked. When I get it back, it works flawlessly. Fuck.

Finished JOE LIST with a random podcaster (?)- 'Nancy Clancy' & began LIL PETE on 'ARE YOU GARBAGE?'.

More 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Netflix). A main character is 'LEBENSBORN'  (meaning "Fount of Life") was a secret, SS-initiated Nazi eugenics program established in December 1935 by SS leader Heinrich Himmler. Its primary goal was to reverse Germany's declining birthrate and systematically create a "master race" by drastically increasing the population of children who met Nazi standards of "racially pure" and "healthy" Aryans.

Incentivized unmarried women who were  pregnant by SS officers to carry their pregnancies to term rather than seeking illegal abortions. I shut it down at the end of episode #6. The series could have been so much better, but it's still fairly compelling, although very hard to accept all of the different 'realities'. There are a couple more seasons, so maybe that will not be revealed until the very end.

Th 10/2/25- WYNK

Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". From RogerEbert.com: "In its style, “Magpie” is a marital thriller with noir trappings galore, including an almost ridiculously convoluted (y...

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy

Fr 10/3/25- Brandenburgs/ Gummy  735am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 820am (3 hits-B: Citrus Mac).  1215pm [I took 1/3 of 'VIIA' 100 mg: 33 mg total].(1-LB: Citrus Mac).  240pm (4 hits-B: Diablo's Hearse). 435pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 530pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 815pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 630am: Rain was "in the area", but missed Westview and more sunny & unseasonably warm weather with temps close to 90. {No rain in a long time & it's getting crunchy}  About 730am several 'tree trimming' trucks arrived and parked just down the street. I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. They disappeared by 10am and I think they were at the house 'with the indoor whirlpool'.  Watched 'UPGRADE' (Netflix).  A very fine 'Dystopian/ SciFi' genre film about a couple in Melbourne ("in a not too distant future") who are in their 'auto...

Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland. "83" Metascore and I would go to "91".  Watched 'BEYOND TRAINSPOTTING: The World Of Irvine Welsh' (Kanopy). An excellent profile of t...
