I tried to set up Free delivery of MICRO FACTOR vitamins, but 'no can do'. The fucking website is designed to NOT allow this to happen.  ***A huge storm blew through The Oaks beginning around 730am. Winds had to have been in the 40-60 mph range. The power went off for about ten seconds and the PC rebooted, but I had to reconnect the modem with a couple of keystrokes. {As I restarted the film later I noticed that the sound bar was not working. I had to turn it 'on'} The fierce storm seemed to leave the area, but at 750am... I got freaked out and turned off the PC from 750am- 905am. The worst of the storm already passed and hardly any rain fell during the entire storm. The film starts at 820am.     Watched '...

It's going to be very hot & sticky for the next several days.  I had to do a Windows Update and it only took a few moments and No Discernible Difference. Watched 'SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION' (Hoopla- last pick of the month).  A young black hustler employs an intimate knowledge of  the milieu of the rich and powerful to intrude into the lives of The Entitled. It seems his motivation is that he does it only because he can. The film's title implies connectivity between people, but it's actually about the randomness of events and how little control we have over how people become part of our lives. Based on the play by John Guare; with Will Smith, Stockard Channing, Donald Sutherland, Ian McKellen, Mary Beth Hurt, Bruce...

Buddy threw up in the sink sometime last night. No dishes or utensils were impacted and hopefully this is not a trend. Weekly Cleaning Watched 'FREUD'S LAST SESSION' (Netflix).  The film is largely based on a hypothetical meeting between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis in which they debate and discuss the existence of God and Freud's relationship with his daughter, Anna. She 'comes out' as a lesbian at the end of the movie and it's stiff and not believable in the slightest.  FACT:  Freud's daughter never married and was in a forty year relationship (she claimed platonic) with a woman. Ana is credited with founding the discipline of psychoanalysis for children; with Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Goode, and Liv Lisa Fries. "48" Metas...

There was a small puddle of vomit in the kitchen when I awoke... Internet Observation: "Dogs prepare you for babies and cats prepare you for teenagers". ***Ordered 2 pairs of workout shorts from Amazon.  Watched 'BLOOD VESSEL' (Netflix- Nollywood). A group fleeing Nigeria and heading for Brazil as stowaways on an oil tanker learn that they have been hijacked by a Russian gang. Mayhem ensues; a little corny and overwrought, but somewhat worth a look. Nollywood drama is tolerable, but Nigerian comedy (even action/ adventure) is too clownish and silly. Set in the Bayelsa State, Nigeria; cities of Twon Brass & Okpoama.    Watched 'SLY' (Netflix). Stallone was born in Hell's Kitchen, NYC and several years later his parents divorced. He went to Maryland to be with his...

The white van is back next door and it looks like he is repairing the rotted wood along the garage roof.  Watered Flowers Watched 'THE MONSTER' (Netflix). An excellent courtroom drama about a young black high school film student who is on trial for robbery and murder. Two questionable characters from the block asked him to go into the bodega prior to the robbery to check if there were customers. He was completely unaware that this action would be considered active involvement in an armed robbery, but he soon realizes that if found guilty he could spend his youth and most of his adult years in prison; Kelvin Harrison Jr., Jennifer Ehle, Paul Ben-Victor, and Jeffrey Wright. "56" Metascore and from a 1999 YA novel by Walter Dean Myers.  Watched 'ORBITER 9' (Netflix). A young woman astronaut believes she has...

Watched 'LUCY' (Netflix- leaving soon). A hapless party girl becomes a drug mule and when the drug enters her system (she's kicked in the stomach) her entire metabolism changes and her mind expands to infinite power. Some great shots of car chases & wrecks on the streets of Paris; with Scarlett Johnansson & Morgan Freeman. Directed by Luc Besson; 1 win & 12 nominations. "62" Metascore and that's about where I'd put it or maybe a bit higher..."Ignorance brings chaos, not knowledge". Watched 'THE LAND' (Netflix).  Six quirky & independent tales of Poland... 1) A man pulls over to take a leak and as he returns to the car it's T-boned and his family is killed.  2) A guy's baby is kidnapped at the supermarket and he strikes back...

Very uncomfortable and I had to use muscle rub last night. This morning it feels much better, but I can't understand how I did it. It didn't seem to be connected to 'leaning' while on the treadmill at Esporta and it might have been using the new scrub brush on the tub, but I really don't know. Buddy had thrown up next to the coffee maker during the night or this morning. Up 545am: 20% chance of showers later this afternoon and temps to the mid 80's.  Watched 'LAND OF BAD' (Netflix).  A drone operator is assigned to a commando team to rescue a CIA operative being held at a fortified jungle location. It's only his second field operation. The ...
